Dear Horace:–

Five of use just got in from prayer and reading of Gods word we do get such good out of these meetings. I don’t know whether you understand this or not Horace but there is such feast for the heart, in the study of this true word The speritual life craves this food and I am so slow at progressing that I need a lot of study before I may accomplish much among the boys and my time may prove short so I long to accomplish all I can. I am weak to I feel that surely I do not realize lots of opportunities that must come to me if I was more sensitive to the power of the Holy Ghost. I know to that I don’t devote enough time to prayer

we have a fellow we call Bill a single man your age, and he is a holy man and richouse and can help use so much oh how I praise God for this experience in my life I could not regret that I ever enlisted I can only praise God for untold number of things tonight.

Men say where is your christianity that you can go up and kill men, never mind Horace old boy God has led me and blessed each day since I left home and I am oh so thankfull for to be able to say that is not ashamed of me and that I am trying to prove his mighty power in my life to change a Vile body into the likeness of his it is the realest thing in the world to me but there is hights to gain each day.

bye bye as ever your dear brother Laurie
