Postcard to Mother from Witley

Witley 15-5-17

Dear Mother:–  

I have been over this road and thru this gap lots of times. today is fine again 25 fine days in succession no rain but one sprinkle. we are all out in Witley park I brot one field kitchen out with the boys dinners There is no use of wasting time mentioning the grub because it is all the time get all I can eat all the time add more than I should eat a lot of the time I sat on the grass under a tree a good lot over 100 feet wide while I ate we went under a big arch to get into this estate a family live in the house the the big arch is in they let you in and out the big gates are opened
